Waves Crypto Company To Allocate Grant To Tradisys Game Developer
Representatives of the blockchain company Waves Platform from Russia reported on their blog about the initiative to provide a grant of 100,000 WAVES tokens to the Tradisys game developer.
Waves pays increased attention to the gaming industry, the market of which is estimated at $100 billion and can become one of the main application spheres of distributed ledger technology, as follows from the blog. The firm plans to allocate a total of 1 million of its tokens to boost the development of games on the Waves blockchain.
Tradisys, which has long been a member of the community, will be the first to receive a grant. It has already created a number of games on the basis of the Waves platform and is developing many others, the crypto firm stated.
Tradisys was established in the fall of 2017, and the following year, it developed the first Waves blockchain-based game using the RIDE programming language. Shortly thereafter, the project experts presented the Centaur oracle, which was used in selecting the winner who got the Ledger Nano S crypto wallet at the meeting of the Waves community in the Estonian capital, Tallinn. Now, the Tradisys product is used by the crypto company clients for holding contests and raffles.
Late last year, Tradisys launched the Christmas game. By participating in it, users had to decorate the Christmas tree, for which they received prizes in the amount of three WAVES tokens. All proceeds subsequently went to charity.
As previously reported, Waves Platform has restarted its website and announced a phased transition to the Web3.0 mechanism.
