What is it for?

Robert Hur, the prosecutor of Maryland (USA), demands to dismiss charges of contract murder from the Silk Road founder, Ross Ulbricht, sentenced to life inprisonment for illegal activities, including drug trade and financial fraud.

The prosecutor sent a corresponding statement to the local district court. According to Hur, Dread Pirate Roberts should remain in prison, but since the Supreme Court took a rather tough stance on this issue and did not reconsider the appointment of a life sentence, it must mitigate the charge.

In his newly created Twitter account, Ulbricht declared that this would greatly alleviate his fate.

As previously reported, in the US, the district court sentenced a 50-year-old Californian woman to imprisonment for criminal cryptocurrency operations and accessory to drug trafficking.
