Skrill will allow clients to exchange fiat money for cryptos and vice versa. Bitcoin, ether, Litecoin, Ethereum Classic, and Bitcoin Cash were among the first crypto assets of the wallet.
The representatives of the payment operator declared their desire to start a business in the crypto sphere in July 2018, promising that trading will be available in 30 countries around the world, and the list of states will be updated. Moreover, the wallet supports transactions with more than forty fiat currencies, and all transactions can be performed in the Exchange tab.
In the field of mobile payment transfers, Skrill seeks to compete with the major operator PayPal. By adding crypto operations, the company made a serious step towards its further development.
The first five cryptocurrencies of the wallet aren’t chosen by chance. All of them, with the exception of Ethereum Classic, are among the ten most liquid on the market. According to CoinMarketCap as of 07:45 UTC, October 4, their combined market capitalization is more than $150 billion, or 68% of the total volume.
