Bitfinex Adds Three Trading Pairs With TRON And Fiat Currencies
The team of the Bitfinex trading platform added three new offers with the TRON token. Now the 13th cryptocurrency by a market capitalization is available for trading in pairs with the euro, pound sterling, and Japanese yen, as reported in the Bitfinex Twitter account.
The exchange updated the list of options on Thursday, October 4. According to the Bitfinex team, launching new fiat pairs with TRON was another step to ensure liquidity and stability of the digital asset market. It will also facilitate the cooperation with global financial markets, representatives of the platform believe.
Bitfinex already trades a fiat pair of TRON with the US dollar. The offer is in the top 20 most popular options on the exchange, with the daily trading volume amounting to more than $752 thousand. The most traded fiat pair on Bitfinex is BTC/USD — these transactions represent 25.91% of all deals concluded on the exchange. Tether and EOS paired with the US dollar are also in demand.
In September 2019, Bitfinex increased the market supply of the stablecoin Tether (USDT), adding nearly 13 million new tokens to the turnover.
The daily trading volume on Bitfinex exceeds $232 million, providing the digital platform with the eighth position in CoinMarketCap rating as of October 5.
Recently, the team of the Hong Kong-based exchange Bitfinex has announced the launch of a new decentralized crypto trading platform EOSfinex, powered by the EOS blockchain. The release of the official version is scheduled for January 2019.
As previously reported, the multicurrency wallet Exodus added support of the TRON mainnet. The tokens became available for exchange with 50 options, including bitcoin, ether, XRP, and other popular cryptocurrencies.
