Tron Developers Intend To Significantly Upgrade Platform
The Tron blockchain company intends to introduce a number of significant platform updates to improve network performance in Q2 of 2019, Misha Lederman, one of the founders of the startup IAmDecentralized.org, tweeted.
Lederman listed four major, in his opinion, platform upgrades that will be implemented by the Tron team. In particular, he announced the launch of the BitTorrent Speed application, thanks to which the distribution of torrents will be rewarded with the BTT tokens.
The company also plans to improve the mechanism for management user accounts as well as introduce crypto wallets for institutional clients. The next update point concerns the launch of USDT stablecoin based on the Tron distributed ledger technology based in partnership with Tether. The TRC-20 standard stablecoin will be supported by the Tron blockchain applications and protocols.
The fourth update is about the introduction of the technology to increase the privacy of transfers in the network. In the fall of 2018, Justin Sun, one of the Tron founders, announced his intention to apply the zc-SNARKS solution from Zcash.
Earlier, Justin Sun called Binance Coin (BNB) a new bitcoin.
