The authorities of Andhra Pradesh have signed a cooperation agreement with the Eleven01 Foundation with the aim of creating a blockchain community on the territory of the Indian state, CoinDesk informs.

The state government is represented by the Andhra Pradesh Innovation Community (APIS). Eleven01 is known in the Indian market as a supplier of blockchain protocols. The partnership involves finding talented blockchain experts and developing startups.

The task of APIS is to create an exceptional ecosystem of blockchain startups, for this purpose, various events will be held, including conferences, seminars, and educational programs.

According to J.A. Chowdary, Information Technology Advisor in Andhra Pradesh, the authorities highly appreciate the help from Eleven01 and its efforts to develop advanced innovative solutions related to blockchain technology.

Eleven01 wants to see India as a development center for blockchain, and the support of the state government will help to get closer to this goal, Ramachandran Iyer, the president and production director of the company, stated.

Eleven01 blockchain protocol was created in collaboration with Tech Mahindra, the Indian IT giant. The platform was introduced in August 2018 in order to build a blockchain community in the country.
