Coinbase Clients To Convert Tokens Using New Service
Coinbase, the leading American crypto exchange, began to provide its customers with a conversion service for various tokens. The new feature is called Convert, as follows from the press release.
Users can convert six cryptocurrencies: bitcoin, ether, Ethereum Classic, Litecoin, 0x, and Bitcoin Cash. The service is ready for use on the Coinbase official website and on the iOS and Android mobile applications for users from 34 countries of the world where the company is already operating.
The representatives of the trading platform state that this innovation is a logical process of its development. Besides, from December 10, 2018, the exchange provides its users with various services within the “12 Days of Coinbase” Christmas campaign.
Since December 14, the option of the fiat funds withdrawal in the PayPal system was implemented. The service is available to customers from the US, but it will also spread to other countries in the future.
Coinbase and PayPal were initially integrated in 2016 when the crypto exchange launched support for the payment platform alongside with other features. Clients had the opportunity to sell bitcoins for fiat and deposit the funds on their PayPal wallets. The cooperation ceased temporarily in February 2018 because of the technical difficulties.
Apart from the new opportunities, Coinbase has initiated several charitable and educational projects.
According to CoinMarketCap as of December 18, 07:50 (UTC), the Coinbase Pro crypto exchange is ranked 21st by trading volume, which amounted to $158.5 million for the last 24 hours.
As previously reported, the Coinbase exchange intends to add new tokens to the listing.
