Bithumb Adds Support Of BTT Token Based On Tron Blockchain
Bithumb, the major South Korean crypto exchange, announced on Twitter the addition of the BitTorrent (BTT) token, based on the Tron blockchain technology, to the listing on Tuesday, February 19.
The options of deposit and withdrawal are available from February 19, 14:00 (UTC). Representatives of the trading platform said they will send additional coins to the users who will make deposits in BTT. This promotion will last one day on February 19 from the moment of opening accounts for deposit.
It is specified that if the deposit amount is less than the minimum one (100,000 BTT), then, according to the rules of the event, the participant will be disqualified. Moreover, all users that will make a deposit during the day will get the opportunity to participate in the BTT tokens airdrop.
According to CoinMarketCap, Bithumb is among the three largest decentralized exchanges in the world along with Binance and BitMEX. The South Korean platform was founded in 2013. Currently, it covers 75.7% of the Korean and 10% of the global bitcoin turnover.
The platform is distinguished by round-the-clock technical support with the possibility of personal consultations. At the same time, there is no opportunity to exchange one cryptocurrency to another directly. Also, from all fiat currencies, Bithumb supports only the South Korean won.
As previously reported, Bithumb will open a licensed office in the United Arab Emirates.
