VeChain Starts Cooperation With Japanese Communications Service Provider
VeChain crypto platform has signed an agreement with Japan's largest mobile operator NTT Docomo to integrate the VeChainThor blockchain in the company's work.
NTT Docomo was created with the support of the Japanese government, 76 million Japanese are using its communication services. The country's authorities support the company's cooperation with VeChain, which aims at implementing a high-speed 5G network. Besides, Sony and MUFG Bank participate in the project.

The introduction of the VeChainThor blockchain into the work of NTT Docomo will give customers a number of advantages: the data volume will grow, the quality of communication will increase, and the service will become cheaper and more transparent. Cooperation between VeChain and NTT Docomo will boost the sale of smartphones, including outside of Japan.
The NTT Docomo task is to improve the service quality for its users. Thanks to the joint work on the introduction of a 5G network based on the VeChainThor blockchain in the country, the crypto platform will gain even greater popularity in the Asian market, NTT Docomo's press secretary stated in the interview to Finance Magnates.
The VeChain crypto platform was founded in Singapore and became the first to establish contacts with the Chinese authorities. In May 2017, VeChain began to cooperate with the audit corporation PricewaterhouseCoopers, which became a minority shareholder of the company in 2018. The crypto platform cooperates with Oxford University and automobile giant BMW. VeChain officially launched its VeChainThor mainnet at the end of June.
