Team Of Upbit Crypto Exchange Adds OST Token To Listing

The representatives of Upbit exchange, one of the largest in South Korea, reported on the addition of the OST cryptocurrency to the listing.


The purchase option of OST tokens on the exchange is available from August 7. Previously, Binance, OKEx, and Huobi have already added this cryptocurrency. Moreover, the OST startup founders — the executive director Jason Goldberg and the main strategist for blockchain issues Benjamin Bollen, agreed to speak at the Upbit Developer conference, which will take place on Jeju Island in September.


OST is a public blockchain platform created for organizations with millions of clients. It is based on the OpenST protocol. The company's offices are located in Berlin, New York, Hong Kong, and Pune.


According to CoinMarketCap, as of August 8, 19:14 (UTC), OST is 253rd with a market capitalization of $17.9 billion and a value of $0.048.

The Upbit was founded in 2017 by Kakao corporation together with the developers of Bittrex exchange and is a current member of the Dunamu group. The trading platform is a leading Korean exchange, and its average daily turnover amounts to about $1 billion. The main cryptocurrencies are bitcoin, ether, Litecoin, Ripple, 140 assets in total. The exchange works with South Korean won and is available for iOS and Android apps.
