The Tezos crypto platform has made another significant step to its ongoing development. The beta version of blockchain was launched in June, and a number of crypto exchanges added Tezos (XTZ) to their listings.
However, the overall network performance could hardly have been called reliable because of temporary technical malfunctions. From the very inception of the blockchain's functionality, only one bug was found. Two months ago the users had been witnessing the incorrect validation of blocks for a period of 60 minutes, but the developers managed to fix the problem in a timely manner. Now, when the testing is over, the clients can rely on smooth network operation.
According to Ryan Jesperson, the head of the Tezos Foundation, the blockchain performance proved to be unhampered and effective. More than 400 users participated in the testing process where they shared their opinions and gave useful pieces of advice with regard to the network enhancement.
Last year, Tezos was able to raise $232 million in a successful fundraising campaign. Then the company faced a number of lawsuits and it was accused of fraud. Subsequently, the project managed to solve all the problems and continued its development. Moreover, Tezos is the pioneer among blockchain companies that organized the audit performed by consulting corporation PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
According to CoinMarketCap as of September 17, 07:30 (UTC), the Tezos cryptocurrency (XTZ) is ranked 16th with a market capitalization of $947.1 million and priced at $1.56.
