Number Of Bitcoin Addresses Increases By 6.9% Over Past Week — Huobi’s Report
Last week, the number of Bitcoin addresses increased by 6.9% to 3.47 million, this was the highest figure in the last two months, according to the report of the Huobi Research group in the Huobi blog.

Traditionally, the Huobi experts pay attention to the two most liquid cryptocurrencies. In addition to the number of addresses, the total volume of transactions grew by 2.9% in the Bitcoin network over the week. The number of active Ethereum addresses decreased by 5.9% to 0.99 million, that was the minimum figure for the last three months. The concentration of assets in the network has increased since June. One thousand of addresses had 62.4% of all ethers. In June, the figure was 58.9%.
As of cryptocurrencies, requests related to bitcoin, ether, and Ripple were the most popular in the world’s social networks, while bitcoin, ether, and EOS were among the top three in China. With regard to various events in the crypto sphere, the queries related to the words “wallet”, “community” and “bot” were the most interesting, and such trading platforms as Coinbase, Binance, and Huobi were of great interest.
Projects related to bitcoin, ether, and EOS gained the most votes on Github. Among the most liquid cryptos on the market, the cost of Ripple increased the most, by 39.4%. At the same time, Ripple has a higher volatility rating than other cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin had the lowest volatility rating last week.
