Ledger Sold More Than 1 Million Crypto Wallets
Ledger earned about €25 million after selling of more than a million wallets last year, Pascal Gauthier, the company’s president, stated during an interview with Forbes.
He claimed that the need to create such a product arose when the bitcoin rate increased sharply, and it became unsafe to store access keys on PCs. He stressed that the project is not new, but its convenience and security brought Ledger wallets to the leading places in top selling lists.
The businessman believes that one of the most successful developments of the company is the Ledger Vault software, which allows using one "cold" crypto account by several users at the same time with the possibility of partial access restriction. Gauthier emphasized that even now people are ready to get in line to acquire it.
As previously reported, Ledger introduced new software for its devices.
