Former LinkedIn Analyst Starts Working For Coinbase Crypto Exchange

Michael Li, the former head of the Analytics Department at LinkedIn, announced on his blog that he joined the Coinbase crypto exchange as Vice President of Data.

 

Blockchain technologies are developing rather intensively, and, according to Li, Coinbase is growing rapidly, too. The new VP expressed his interest in innovation in the data processing for the crypto industry and blockchain technologies.

 

Michael Li is an expert in expanding of consumers' capabilities through the data processing in the commercial online industry, financial services, and now he is going to apply his experience in the blockchain field.

 

Li has spent 12 years of his professional career as an analyst for Capital One, eBay, Coursera, and then LinkedIn. In the last company, the specialist worked for more than seven years, after which on September 18, 2018, he published a post on Medium about his new position.

 

In the data processing, the Coinbase team will apply both the well-known technologies of machine learning and artificial intelligence, as well as innovative methods for the development of future blockchain applications.

 

As previously reported, the Coinbase team became one of the few crypto exchanges that provided information about the financing and protection of their investors to the New York State Attorney General's Office.
