Bitcoin Price To Reach $10 000 — Research
Crypto Inferno, an analytical source, published the results of a poll concerning the behavior of bitcoin's rate during the remaining months of 2018. As it turned out, most respondents believe that the cost of the cryptocurrency will grow to $10,000 by the end of the year.
According to the majority, bitcoin must finally overcome the downward trend and rise in price. Almost one third (29.7%) of the respondents expect BTC to increase gradually to $8000–$10,000. Another large group (18.9%) believes that the cryptocurrency will reach $12,000 — the analysts of Crypto Inferno also agree with this prediction. The researchers and the community believe that despite the expected surge, bitcoin will not succeed to reach its all-time high this year, as in December 2017.
‘Last week we held a vote to see how our community thought BTC would perform over the rest of the year. 37 of you voted: a small but adequate straw poll for our purposes.’https://t.co/l1OZn5A0f6#BITCOIN, #BLOCKCHAIN, #CRYPTO, #CRYPTOCURRENCY #INFERNONEWS— Crypto Inferno (@CryptoInferno_) September 22, 2018
At the same time, 13.5% of respondents bet on the decrease in the bitcoin's price, ranging from $3000 to $5000. A small part of the community is sure that the first cryptocurrency will remain within its current exchange rate. According to CoinMarketCap, as of September 25, the cost of bitcoin amounts to $6492.
It is reported that 37 people participated in the survey. As the analysts note, it is a small, but an adequate survey on the issue.
In the comments, the researchers add that bitcoin can expect a rally at the end of the year — like in 2017 when the price of the cryptocurrency tripled in five weeks and surged from $5000 to $20,000. Analysts at Crypto Inferno suggest that the best scenario for bitcoin is a stable, but not stellar growth, and preparation for a new bullish trend in 2019. The researchers believe that the approval of bitcoin-ETF and the launch of the regulated trading platform Bakkt will contribute to it.
Previously, the management of Bakkt announced their intention to create a guarantee fund for crypto assets.
