The team of the Bittrex exchange announced expansion of the listing with a new BOXX token. The new coin, designed to purchase tickets for concerts and other events, will be available for trading very soon, according to the Bittrex Twitter.

The crypto, called Blockparty (BOXX), is created for cultural events and other parties. As the team claims on the project website, the tokens made a blockchain revolution in ticketing. It is mentioned that Blockparty fights against main problems of the industry — fake tickets and unfair prices.
This technology ties a ticket to a user's personal data stored in the account in Blockparty mobile application. A ticket for an event can be activated by face recognition facility or fingerprint. Thus, the program confirms that the ticket wasn’t stolen and is used directly by its owner.
The startup team introduced a variety of bonuses within the network, for which users can get discounts on tickets, free merchandise, or win a personal meeting with a favorite artist or actor.
The daily trading volume of BOXX cryptocurrency is $6.9 million, according to CoinMarketCap. The price per one token is nearly $0.3. It is noteworthy that over the past 24 hours its rate has grown by 98.3%.
Shortly before this news, the Bittrex team also announced that a new trading pair, Bitcoin Cash (BCH) with the US dollar, will be available on the exchange from the early October.
Utility tokens, developed not for trading, but for specific applications or projects, are becoming increasingly widespread. Previously, the SBI Holdings Japanese corporation announced the release of tokens for mobile retail payments.
