Before the signing ceremony, Edward Scicluna, the Finance Minister of the state, congratulated the parties, stressing that the agreement with Binance, as well as the global expansion of Malta Stock Exchange, will contribute to the country's economic growth.

According to Wei Zhou, the company is pleased to join the development of the blockchain ecosystem on the island. He stated that the partners are going to move the traditional assets to the blockchain, that is possible with security tokens.
