Minister Urges Bahraini Companies To Use Blockchain Technologies

Abdulhussain bin Ali Mirza, the Minister of Electricity and Water Affairs of Bahrain, stated that blockchain technology (BT) is an unmistakable sign of the ongoing progress and accentuated that companies should deploy all the advantages of the modern technology, News of Bahrain informs.

 

Mirza considers the BT as one of the most prominent achievements over the recent years. The Minister induces that all the facilities and talented professionals have to take a closer look at this technology.

At the beginning of this month, the official presented a speech at the opening of the SmartSec Cyber Security and Blockchain 2018 Conference. where he stressed that the BT provides new opportunities for further analysis of reliable methods to facilitate various transactions

 

The minister stated that nowadays “cyber-security is an essential part of our lives” since most routine tasks are directly related to deployment of the technology.

 

Mirza also declared that the world community should treat the frequent cases of global cyber attacks with utmost attention. Over 60 states were subject to hacker attacks, including the Kingdom of Bahrain which faced the problem last year.

 

 

In accordance with the official’s statement, we can’t ignore the very fact that citizens spend most of their time using digital technologies. Consequently, the authorities should radically raise the issue of cyber security in the field of electricity supply system which closely deals with technology advancements.

 

As previously reported, Atlas Quantum, a Brazilian crypto investment platform, was subject to hacking attacks, which led to the breach of customers’ personal data.

    I think the increase in cyber terrorism is happened because the world is moving to web space, so it's natural that therer is even more cyber-attacks are yet to come.
