Secured Desktop Wasabi Wallet To Be Released In August 2018
The Wasabi Wallet developed by the zkSNACKs team, is planned for release in August, 1, Coindesk reports.
Adam Ficsor, the project’s co-founder, stated that this bitcoin wallet supports the CoinJoin algorithm and works only in the Tor browser.
Fiscor said that the new wallet has some unique features. They include the CoinJoin technology introduced in 2013 by Gregory Maxwell, which does not allow to track the transaction data in a public blockchain.
CoinJoin collects several transactions at once and sends them to the server in a single file. The authors of Wasabi Wallet included the filtering mechanism by a developer under the nickname @roastbeef. Any user can connect to a specific node and select one block from the set, therefore, it is very difficult to track the bitcoin wallet address. Wasabi Wallet will also help its owners to hide the amount of crypto on their accounts that is impossible in any other crypto wallet.
As previously reported, the Singapore airline announced the release of the crypto wallet KrisPay for customers of its loyalty program KrisFlyer.
