The creation of a new cloud service based on Kaleido blockchain was announced by ConsenSys startup and Amazon Web Services (AWS) during Consensus 2018, a cryptocurrency and blockchain conference in New York.

ConsenSys is a blockchain incubator famous for its developments on the Ethereum blockchain, and AWS is a provider of cloud computing platforms to individuals, companies and governments, based on a paid subscription, a subsidiary of Amazon.com.

Kaleido cloud service will help to facilitate operations in blockchains of private organizations.

AWS stated that it doesn’t adhere to a particular protocol and supports the Sawtooth software from Hyperledger as well as the Corda blockchain platform from R3.

As previously reported, AWS platform created a template service to instantly launch the blockchain networks based on Ethereum and Hyperledger Fabric.

Nice, as I see it, there is a tendency for every company that is involded in marketing to create it's own currency to pay with it. Amazon has both power and people who will use it so it's nice thing to do
