NYC Authorities License Tagomi Crypto Broker
The New York State Department of Financial Services (NYDFS) granted BitLicense, a work permit for crypto operations, to Tagomi Trading, as follows from a press release.
The branch of the brokerage firm Tagomi Holdings began its work in late 2018. Tagomi Trading manages capital, provides users with advisory services regarding investment decisions and trading, as well as services for storing digital assets and generating trading reports.
Greg Tusar, Tagomi Trading executive director, expressed satisfaction with the decision of the NY authorities and stated that the NYDFS is attentive to the participants of the crypto market and creates favorable conditions for their work. Tusar added that his company has many years of experience in the crypto sphere, acting for the benefit of customers, including now the residents of the New York state.
The regulatory organization provided Tagomi with the ability to carry out monetary transactions in crypto, including bitcoin, ether, Litecoin, and Bitcoin Cash.
Since 2015, the department has granted licenses to 18 companies. The organization seeks to promote innovative companies and increase the competitiveness of the growing crypto market, Linda Lacewell, the NYDFS Acting Head, stated. She believes that thanks to Tagomi, crypto owners will have more opportunities to work in the crypto industry.
As previously reported, the license of the NYDFS has been granted to Cottonwood Vending, a company specializing in bitcoin ATMs.
