Ripple To Invest $100 Million In Developing Games On Blockchain
The Xpring ecosystem, founded by Ripple crypto company, together with the Forte blockchain platform, created a fund in the amount of $100 million and will direct these funds to support developers in the gaming industry around the world. Such information was published on the blog of Xpring.
Xpring experts believe that the crypto sphere provides an opportunity to unite the interests of e-commerce platforms of all types, including between gamers and game developers. Such an interaction can potentially lead to serious results. A peer-to-peer economy can be created in which users are the main active participants.
The Forte blockchain platform was launched in February 2019 just to solve a specific problem in the gaming sphere – how to better coordinate the interaction of players and developers' business models. The design of the Forte platform, thanks to its isolated architecture, oriented on specific apps, is quite compatible with the direction in which the crypto sphere moves.
From the very beginning, Xpring specialists worked with the Forte team to integrate the Interledger protocol, the Codius platform, and the XRP cryptocurrency, which can be used in the calculations, into its architecture.
The fund will allow spreading blockchain technology in the gaming industry and will create new opportunities for monetization. The distributed ledger technology will help to make the games even better and more interesting, developers will have the opportunity to create a successful game economy, the creators of the fund stated.
As previously reported, the payment company Mercury FX will continue to cooperate with the Ripple crypto platform and use its technology.
