Lyft To Introduce Blockchain In Medical Transportation Sphere
Solve.Care, a blockchain startup, together with the Estonian ridesharing project Lyft, in an official press release announced the launch of a system for the tokenization of transportation services in the health sector.
As part of a joint project with Lyft, the Solve.Care startup will allow customers to plan and pay for trips to hospitals, pharmacies, and other medical institutions using the internal SOLVE token in the payment system through Solve.Care software wallets. Customers will have the opportunity to share their travel expenses with family, insurance agents, employers, or other parties. The system will have a number of flexible settings so that users can plan their trips in detail.
Solve.Care CEO Pradeep Goel noted that the system will ensure timely access to medical care, shorten waiting times and simplify cost sharing and access to transport subsidies. The blockchain platform will allow the creation of customer service networks that will take into account their health, economic, social needs, employment, and other criteria.
The Estonian decentralized platform Solve.Care was launched to improve the management of health processes, as well as the quality of service for clients and insurance agents.
Previously, the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation announced testing of the blockchain platform TradeLens for the management of maritime freight.
