Most Companies Are Not Ready To Integrate Blockchain – Survey
Results of the latest study showed that most companies are not ready to introduce blockchain technology into their work, despite their interest. A software company Globant conducted the survey and published results on its website.
Globant study featured 679 senior officials from the United States who work in marketing, IT, and other fintech areas.
65% of companies expressed interest in investing in blockchain solutions to develop their organization, but only 46% of them are ready to integrate distributed ledger technology.
Only 28% of the 61% of companies that consider blockchain have already chosen a technology provider. Most firms are still studying blockchain, choosing suppliers, or have not yet decided.
The blockchain introduction is not the same process for each company, there are nuances everywhere, Diego Tartara, Globant CTO in Latin America, stated. Based on this, business leaders need to have a clear idea of how this integration will look. The technology requires a change in the company's future development; this can be called the key to the successful blockchain implementation, Tartara added.
Previously, Gemalto conducted a study and found that blockchain was being used twice as often in systems using the Internet of Things (IoT) technology.
